Workforce development is a broad concept, encompassing the recruitment and retention of qualified staff, but also looks at how to strengthen the current workforce and expand the pipeline of future health care workers in Colorado. CCHN provides resources and technical assistance to Community Health Center (CHC) staff, students, career seekers and the general public. CCHN works to provide value to CHCs in several activities, such as conducting workforce needs assessments, raising awareness about recruitment and retention services, building partnerships, creating networks to share best practices, and collecting and publishing data.
