CKF Coalition
The heart of CKF is our statewide coalition. CKF partners and coalition members commit time and resources to improve access to Colorado's public health insurance program for children and families. CKF Coalition members and staff work to identify improvements in public health insurance programs, represent the needs of families and local communities in the policy process, and support local efforts to enhance outreach and enrollment in Medicaid and CHP+.

Members of the CKF Coalition include Medicaid and CHP+ enrollment professionals, healthcare advocates, state policy makers, healthcare providers, and others interested in healthcare. Membership in the CKF Coalition is not limited -- all those with an interest in Medicaid and CHP+ for children and families are invited and encouraged to join. (CKF is non-partisan and does not engage in lobbying). Coalition members receive regular email updates on Medicaid and CHP+ issues and are invited to attend quarterly coalition meetings and/or to join one or both of CKF's work groups.

To join the CKF Coalition, email your request to CKF Policy Analyst Brittney Petersen.

Agency Partners Work Group
The Agency Partners Work Group focuses on enrollment issues in Medicaid and CHP+. Members and CKF staff share resources and provide each other with technical assistance on Medicaid and CHP+ enrollment details. Many members of this work group are enrollment technicians, but membership is not limited. Anyone with an interest in Medicaid and CHP+ enrollment is invited and encouraged to join this work group. Members will receive regular updates about enrollment issues by email and are invited to attend regularly scheduled meetings. For a list of upcoming CKF meetings, click here.

To join the Agency Partners Work Group, email your request to CKF Field Coordinator Christy Trimmer.

Health Policy Work Group
The Health Policy Work Group monitors and discusses legislation and regulations that impact Medicaid and CHP+. Many members of this work group are lobbyists or advocates, but membership is not limited. Anyone with an interest in policy impacting healthcare for Colorado children and families is invited and encouraged to join this work group. Members will receive health policy updates by email and are invited to attend regularly scheduled meetings. For a list of upcoming CKF meetings, click here.

To join the Health Policy Work Group, email your request to CKF Policy Analyst Brittney Petersen.
